- Antique Church Bronze Bell By Severin Vanaerschodt Louvain
- Excellent reclaimed genuine bell fitted with it's original clapper.
- Lady Dorothy Nevill was a horticulturist and writer. She was a Walpole descendant the Great grandchild of Horatio Walpole, 1st earl of Orford.
- Her mother and father was Mary Fawkner and Horatio Walpole, 3rd Earl of Orford.
- The bell was cast with the help of Mr Haweis, who designed the bell and wrote the motto for it.
- He got in contact with the bell-founder Louvain - Severin Van Aeroschoots to cast the bell.
- The bell was the entrance to her garden in Sussex to welcome guests to see her vast plant collections.
- Enscription reads - Ne vile velis - as J swing, Ne Velis Vile - so J sing, welcome to all, nor wish them ill, My Lady Dorothy Neville”
