• Antique Reclaimed Solid Brass Church Eagle Lectern
• This is stamped in two places with the makers name: Cox & Sons Southampton Street London.
• Excellent memorial lectern, the pediment with a study of a perched eagle with out swept wings above a column pedestal.
• Standing on ball feet.
• The engraved inscription reads: 'A Memorial of Thomas Henwood Who Was Born at Perran-ar-Warthal 14th December 1808 and Died at Harfleur in France 31st of January 1872'.
• The church lectern measures: 70" Tall x 26 ½" Wing Span.
• The lectern is totally free standing and stands upright and secure.
• The Eagle rotates.
