• A lovely example with original scabbard.
• This model was manufactured and used with several rifles but it was initially designed for the M1866 Chassepot rifle.
• Made in December 1868 at the French State Arsenal, Manufacture Imperiale de Tulle, as can be seen etched on the edge of the blade.
• A small dent on the scabbard - Please see photos.
• This measures: 28" Long.
