Hand Painted Antique Chairs

Painting Wooden Chairs: Step-by-Step

Step One We use sugar soap on the chairs to get rid of any dirt, grime and wax. Step Two Next, the chairs are primed with two coats of wood primer. Step Three At least three top coats are applied allowing for the paint to dry thoroughly in between coats – this is essential in ensuring a high quality finish.
