Magnificient Antique Stone Garden Trough / Planter

• Magnificient Antique Stone Trough
• Reclaimed from a large local estate here in Staffordshire
• This would of been carved entirely by hand
• The trough measures 90" (2.3m) long x 39" (1m) wide x 39" (1m) tall
• The trough has an excellent patina with lovely mosses and lichens
• This trough is in excellent condition. Circa 1800
• The trough weighs just under 2 tons
• The trough is made from a buff coloured sandstone
• The side walls are 4" (100mm) thick
• The trough was sat a few inches into the ground, so to keep it level above ground we have sat it on a couple of pieces of wood
