Here at UKAA we have for sale Carron cast iron fireplaces, baskets, inserts and surrounds.
This traditional range consists of designs based on original reclaimed Victorian, Georgian and Edwardian fireplaces.
Each fireplace has been cast from an original old sand mould, so they have the look and feel of an original fireplace, but they come complete with all the components required for fitting.

This range of Victorian style outdoor lighting includes traditional Black, Copper and Polished Brass lanterns.
The lanterns are available in various sizes such as small, medium, large and extra-large to suit your individual needs.
Each lantern is supplied with a free bayonet bulb holder which is 2 amps, rated up to 200watts.

Here at UKAA we will be taking part in the RSPB big garden birdwatch which will be taking place on the 29th - 31st January 2021.
UKAA have just advertised a good stock of antique bird baths which will be perfect to use in your garden to encourage the birds. Click here to view our birdbaths.
We can deliver any of our birdbaths on a next day delivery service for you.
The instructions from the RSPB for the big bird watch are:
1. Choose any hour between 29 and 31 January 2021.
2. Count the birds you see in your garden. Ignore any birds that are still in flight. To avoid double-counting, just record the highest number of each bird species you see at any one time – not a running total.
3. Submit your results either Online: click here you will need to submit them before the19 February. Or by post: using the submission form click here. Please post your results to them before 15 February.

Reasons why you should have a birdbath in your garden:
Water to bathe in is very important for birds, especially in winter. It is essential that they keep their feathers in good condition. When birds use the birdbath it Dampens the feathers which loosens the dirt and makes their feathers easier to preen.
When preening, birds carefully rearrange the feathers and spread oil from the preen gland so they remain waterproof and trap an insulating layer of air underneath to keep them warm.

These vintage and industrial style metal kitchen worktops are made to your bespoke sizes to suit your kitchen. Each countertop is made by hand here in our yard in Staffordshire, UK by our skilled joiners. We use solid natural sheet zinc, copper or brass which is 0.8mm thick wrapped over top-grade MDF.
