• Original Antique Rare Queen Victoria Red Pillar Box
• Excellent fully refurbished original cast iron pillar box - Completed here by hand at UKAA to our very high standards.
• Fitted with the original Chubb lock, 2 x keys, cage, chute, enamel plaque and tab (Hard to find complete) and collection box.
• The Pillar Box measures 81" Tall.
• The body measures 15" wide. (Known as the B size).
• This pillar box is a PB15/2 - Type B.
• Made by A.Handyside & Co Ltd - Darby & London.
• We include touch up paint.
• Circa 1887 onwards bore the soverign's cipher on the door and the words POST OFFICE. A metal strip at the right of the door was to keep out rainwater.
