• Rare Original Royal Mail Double Cast Iron Pillar Box
• This Pillar Box was made by Machan Engineering, Scotland.
• Totally original and very rare item.
• Excellent fully refurbished original post box - Completed here by hand at UKAA to our very high standards.
• Fitted with the original Chubb locks, 1 x key (Each lock) also each side has a chute.
• The Pillar Box measures: 73" Tall x 39" Wide x 29" Deep (16" will go into the ground).
• The original eye bolt is fitted to the top - This is used as a lift point to put into position.
• One of our previous customers turned theirs into a drinks cabinet for their bar - Please see photo.
• Circa 1986 - Known as the type C box.
• Touch up paint is included.
