• Original Unrestored Cast Iron GR Pillar Box
• Totally Original GR Cast Iron pillar box.
• Complete with original working chubb lock & 2 x keys and chute.
• The Pillar Box measures 82" Tall, of which upto 28" goes into the ground.
• The body measures 15" Wide.
• Circa 1915.
• This Pillar Box was made by Mc Dowall, Steven & co Ltd - London & Glasgow.
• This pillar box has had some repairs and had most of these whilst in service, the top left corner of the door needs attention, there is a hair line crack at the bottom of the door (this does not affect strength) also a crack at the very bottom which is buried in the ground again this does not affect strength.
