• Rare Royal Mail VR Cast Iron Wall Mounted Letter Box
• Excellent fully refurbished original post box - Completed here by hand at UKAA to our very high standard.
• Made in the Queen Victoria era - Circa 1881.
• Fitted with the original Chubb lock with 2 x keys, internal cage and enamel collection plate.
• The overall size is 30 ½" Tall x 10" Wide x 13" Deep into the wall.
• Made by Eagle Range & Foundry - Birmingham.
• This post box is a WB8⅗ - Type C.
• We also send some touch up paint with the post box.
• There are signs of old repairs, however this does not effect the stability to the box.
• These boxes were often repaired whilst still in situ by the Post Office repairs department.
