• Royal Mail VR Cast Iron Wall Mounted Letter Box
• Excellent fully refurbished original post box - Completed here by hand at UKAA to our very high standards.
• Made in the Queen Victoria era - Circa 1874.
• Fitted with the original Chubb lock with 2 x keys and enamel collection plate.
• The overall size is 30 ¼" Tall x 10" Wide x 13" Deep into the wall.
• This post box is a WB83/2 - Type C.
• Made by Bernd P Walker - Eagle Range & Foundry - Birmingham.
• Touch up paint with be supplied with the post box.
• There are signs of old repairs, however this does not effect the stability to the box.
• These boxes were often repaired whilst still in situ by the Post Office repairs department.
