- Set of 10 Worcester Cathedral Oak Chairs and Oak Table from Bath Royal School
- Worcester Cathedral Antique Gothic Light Oak Chairs
- In 1870 the Cathedral installed 1200 Oak Chairs
- The chairs are 36½" tall and the width of the seat is 17¼" and the seat height is 17½"
- The architect for the cathedral was Sir George Gilbert Scott - it would of been part of his work for him to have an input in the design and manufacture of the chairs
- In the images below you can see the chairs in situ
- We purchased over 120 chairs from the Cathedral and we have now sourced a manufacturer to replicate the chairs for us in Solid Oak, with the same method of construction and detail.
- We have hand waxed the chairs here at UKAA
- The tables were purchased from the Royal School in Bath
- The tables vary by an inch or two in length but are all around 7ft long, we purhcased over 20 of these tables and we are hand stripping and hand waxing them as they sell.
- Additional chairs are available at £125 each
- As all of the tables vary very slightly in size and style - we will send you images and sizes of your table to make sure you like it before it is delivered
