• Excellent and very rare set of chairs
• Reclaimed from St Johns Church in Birmingham
• Solid oak in construction and in fantastic condition
• Two of the chairs have slightly different top finials
• IHS - is latin - Iesus Hominium Salvator - Jesus, Saviour of men
• The seat height is 17½", they are 39" tall and they measure 18½" wide at the front of the seat
• The chairs are late Victorian - circa 1880
