- Set of 8 Worcester Cathedral Limed Oak Chairs and Table
- In 1870 the Worcester Cathedral installed 1200 Oak Chairs
- The architect for the cathedral was Sir George Gilbert Scott - it would of been part of his work for him to have an input in the design and manufacture of the chairs
- In the images below you can see the chairs in situ in the Cathedral
- We purchased over 120 chairs from the Cathedral and we have now sourced a manufacturer to replicate the chairs for us in Solid Oak, with the same method of construction and detail.
- We have hand stripped and then Lime Waxed the table and chairs here at UKAA
- The antique Oak table was reclaimed from the refectory of Royal School in Bath
- The table measures 75" long x 32 ½" wide x 29 ¾" tall
- The chairs are 36½" tall and the width of the seat is 17¼" and the seat height is 17½"
