Set of 8 Worcester Cathedral Limed Oak Chairs and Limed Oak Table from Bath Royal School
Fantastic reclaimed table and chairs.
In 1870 Worcester Cathedral installed 1200 Oak Chairs.
The architect for the cathedral was Sir George Gilbert Scott - it would of been part of his work for him to have an input in the design and manufacture of the chairs
We purchased over 120 original chairs (these have now sold) from the Cathedral and we have now sourced a manufacturer to replicate the chairs for us in Solid Oak, with the same method of construction and detail.
These 8 chairs are the replicas.
The Oak table was purchased from the Royal School in Bath.
The table measures: 75" Long x 32 ¼" Wide x 30" Tall.
The chairs measure: 36½" tall and the width of the seat is 17¼" and the seat height is 17½".
All measurements are approximate.
